I John 4:17
As you reflect on this week, consider how God has worked in your life. We are to be like Jesus more and more each day; as He is in the world, so are we. We are called to live as Christ did to show forth His praises and to glorify the Father in heaven. As we obey God's word, we show forth His glory among the nations. Obedience becomes our love-letter to God and the sign of our discipleship in Christ as we live and move and have our being in Him on this earth. Every believer uniquely represents Jesus to the watching world. Each are like one facet of a many-faceted diamond shining brilliantly. Together His Body accomplishes His work in the earth, the whole Body bringing the whole gospel to the whole world.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I long to know You more. I want to see You moving in my life and in all the circumstances in which I find myself today. Give me an overwhelming sense of Your presence and Your peace that guards my steps. Help me discover more and more of You in my life and give it out more and more to those around me. Through me, multiply other fervent followers of Jesus that go and do likewise. As we gather in Your Name, multiply other gatherings that fill our world with Kingdom communities. In Jesus name, Amen.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I bow before You, praising You for all that You have done and continue to do. I lift up the Kenyan Gujarati to ask Your grace and mercy be poured out upon them. Shine brightly through each laborer among them for Your Names' sake. As sisters and brothers are born into Your Kingdom, may they grow more and more like You to shine out Your light among the Kenyan Gujarati. Cause Kenyan Gujarati households to be filled with Your light and life. Wind of the Holy Spirit blow through these households and spread to the surrounding peoples for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray!"
