"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase."
Acts 9:31
Today's verse is so wonderful in so many ways but the main part is the "…it continued to increase." And it has not stopped increasing up until today and tomorrow it will increase even more. The kingdom of God is advancing all over the world and our family is being added to daily. Praise God for the increase He is bringing and ask the Holy Spirit to give you a new vision for increase in whatever area to which He has called you. Every believer is meant to pray for the work to expand where it has not yet come. Every believer is mean to be fruitful and to multiply; those who have already been fruitful can be even more fruitful and help others grow in fruitfulness. Is God calling you to go to regions beyond where the gospel has penetrated? Most church planting or disciple making movements have been started by other movement leaders. Pray for the Lord of the Harvest to thrust out more capable workers into the ripe harvest.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, open the eyes of my heart to understand time in regards to serving You in the ministry to which You’ve called me. Let me find joy and hope in the fact that You hold all things in Your hands including time. You know Your plans for me and I trust You and Your timing today. Help me work with diligence and urgency as You direct me. Cause the roots of every new believer to go deep in You so they can multiply effectively. Direct experienced movement leaders into arenas where they can help other less experienced workers to be even more fruitful. Help me be obedient to Your instructions wherever that may lead."
Unreached of the Day's Prayer:
"Father, I ask you to ignite such a movement of Your Spirit among the Avar, Maarulal peoples of Azerbaijan that they burn bright with faith and the whole world is changed. Lord, rain on their souls and give them the great love you offer through Jesus. In your mercy, save these people by your love and raise up laborers among them. Let Your Word drive them out wherever the Kingdom is not yet to proclaim the gospel boldly. As new movements are ignited, thrust out experienced workers into the neediest areas and people groups to continue the growth."
