"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!"
2 Corinthians 13:5
Today's verse is a call to self-examination. As David prayed, "Lord search me and know my heart and show me if there be any wicked way in me." So, we need to pray likewise daily. Take a few moments to quiet your heart and ask God to show you places that need His life and healing in your heart. Ask Him to open your ears and your eyes to anything in you that needs to be adjusted before Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to come in power and set you free in the deep places so that you can go out and make disciples of all nations. Review before the Father with thanksgiving for what He has done; listen for His instructions about what needs to be continued, started, changed or stopped. He has the divine strategy for building His Kingdom. Listening well to Him regularly and putting His instructions into practice keep us on track.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, here I am. I long for You to be glorified in all the earth! God search me today and know my heart. Show me if there is anything in my heart not pleasing to You and give me the grace to yield to change what should be adjusted. I lean on You and rest in Your grace! Help me, God, be more and more like Jesus! Thank You for what I am seeing You do in my life and ministry! Reveal Your strategies for my specific assignment. Show me anything which needs to be shifted or stopped. Confirm to me things that need to be continued. Help me flow with Your Spirit’s purposes day by day. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!"

"Father, You chose prayer as the way we partner with You and partake of the goodness that comes from the spreading Your kingdom on earth. God, the Kalal (Hindu traditions) need You today! Speak to them in the night with dreams! Raise up laborers to plant multiplying movements among them. Raise up prayer warriors to intercede for them day and night. Guide these ambassadors in Your ways and toward Your strategies for this specific people group. Help leaders remain flexible to move when You move and to adjust when You shift. May Your Great Name be glorified among the Kalal (Hindu traditions) and beyond! I ask all this in Jesus’ name, Amen!"
