Philippians 2:2
Jesus told us the greatest commandment was to love God and the second to love one another. Jesus also prayed that we all as children of God would be one. Today, take some time and think about your family, your friends, those God has called you to serve in your job and in your mission fields. Ask Him to open your eyes so you can be like-minded, have the same love and be one in the Spirit. Ask God to open your heart to His love so that you can pour it out to those around. Ask Holy Spirit to fill you to overflowing! Ask God to teach you to be a peacemaker and to give you patience with those who are angry and hurting in the world around you. May we learn to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, thank You for Jesus. Thank You, Jesus, for coming and dying for me. Thank You for the resurrecting power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for eternal life that I have in Jesus. Make me so controlled by Your Spirit that I walk in sanctified unity with my brothers and sisters in the faith. Help us be one in Spirit and of one mind so that we glorify You in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen!"
