"Don’t hold back—give freely, and you’ll have plenty poured back into your lap—a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, brimming over. You’ll receive in the same measure you give."
Luke 6:38
Why do we hesitate to sow the Word of God generously? Are we busy with other things? Are we timid? Luke 6:38 instructs us not to hold back but to give freely. In the same measure we give out, we will in turn receive. Take a moment and ask God for how many ways you could find to share the gospel with those to whom you are called. Holy Spirit is our teacher and guide; He will reveal creative opportunities and open doors for good news to be shared.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I need Your love and life to fill me today. I am dry and weary but so eager to see You glorified in my life. Give me Your rest and fill me with trust today to listen and to obey Your instructions. Let me take steps to sow generously into the world where you've placed me. Bring in an abundant harvest for Your glory.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, the Karachay need You and Your light. Cause the gospel to be sown generously among these people. May the gospel be sown abundantly through books and written materials, through media and movies made in the languages of these people that speak of You and Your glory. Let the message spread person to person rapidly and draw many to You today. Multiply disciples and fellowships of followers throughout the Karachay for Your glory."
