"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior..."
1 Tim. 2:1-3
As we pray for kings and all those in authority, God moves by holding back the darkness as Light shines forth. Quiet, peaceable lives are opportunities to display the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Fruitfulness is to be celebrated, praising God for His goodness. As the wise farmer, God knows when to send sunshine and when to send the rains. Experiencing seasons of peace and fruitfulness allows movements to consolidate gains and evaluate future plans guided by the Holy Spirit. Steward well these seasons, asking God to help you make the most of every opportunity for His glory.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, I want to hear Your voice today and listen to what You would speak to me. Help me to quiet my mind and heart enough to hear Your still, small voice whisper to me. I long for You and for the rain that comes with Your presence. Show me more of You today. Bring seasons of peace and fruitfulness and help me make the most of every opportunity for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

"Father, it is by Your grace that I am saved and by Your sovereign choice that I have been drawn to You, so God I ask that You would do the same for the Uzbek, Northern peoples of Uzbekistan. Give them hearts that are soft to Your voice and Your love today. Draw them to Your waiting arms of love... give them all You have set aside for them today. Raise them up and fill them with Your love that compels them to share good news with others. Grow Your kingdom throughout this group today. In Jesus’ name I ask and pray, Amen."
