From the moment you wake in the morning to the moment you go to sleep at night, you are thinking. Your brain is active and it must focus on something. Today, set a guard over your mind. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you to guard your heart and mind. Look at your life and see where the holes are that are allowing the world to creep in. Ask God to teach you to find new ways of focusing your mind on the things above and not on the things below. As you go out today to work among other people, ask God to put a shield around you to keep destructive thoughts from entering your mind. Train up those you are working and living with to do the same. Revel in the peace God gives and celebrate fruitfulness for His glory!
