"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
John 15:7
Today's verse speaks of laying down of our own ways and will to abide, which is a continual "being found" in Jesus. It is a continual, unbroken relationship, rightly relating to Jesus Himself and His words to ask whatever we wish and it be done for us. As you abide, receive His heart. Out of the compelling of His love, ask for whatever is needed to fulfill His will. As a Good Father, He will certainly meet every need as you ask. Remember every believer sharing their faith especially with those with least access to the good news. Ask today for all their needs to be met as a testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father I want to know You more today with my heart and with my spirit. As I abide, thank You for generously meeting every need for myself, my family and my ministry. I also stand in the gap for every worker to experience abundance of Your household in every way. Equip them and provision them to be fruitful for Your glory in multiplying disciples and multiplying fellowships.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I lift up the Shabak for Your grace and mercy to be poured out among them. Open the eyes of their hearts and their ears to hear the truth of the gospel and to come to Jesus. May they then go out among their own people to share the good news with others around them. As You are generous with us, may these believers be generous in sharing not only their provisions but also their lives and the good news of Jesus. For the glory of Jesus’ name, Amen."
