KEEP IT SIMPLE TO MULTIPLY

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3:5-6

This week’s church planting movement principle is: Keep It Simple to Multiply. In Matthew 13:23 we read: “But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” As we go out to make disciples that make other disciples, remember simple things reproduce; simple things multiply. Sowing into good soil means investing in the people who are ready and able to understand the message of the gospel. You will reproduce what you model, so simplify your message and your methods. Whatever you do should be easily reproducible by those to whom you are sent. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill your mouth with the right words brought in the right way at the right time to the right person. Pray disciple makers humbly and simply sow the Word in ways that are easily reproducible.

Ask God this week to give everyone involved in church planting movements a sense of their connectedness to the family of Christ as children of God. Practice listening to Holy Spirit daily for where He is sending you to prepare His way.
