"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others."
2 Timothy 2:2
Simple things grow; simple things multiply. The materials and concepts you use need to be simple, reproducible, and easy to pass on from believer to believer. The things you heard and learned can be in turn passed on to others in this way; then they can in turn do likewise. Trust the Holy Spirit and spend ample time listening to Him about when and where to go, to whom you speak and what you say. Ask God to make you responsive to His nudges. Simply trust and obey. Ignite a cycle of prayer, caring and sharing as a lifestyle.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, help me begin by simply being still and knowing that you are God and that you love me. What I have heard and learned, help me entrust to reliable people that teach others. Let me walk with you and learn to share that with all those you send me to. Help me not think more is better, but help me keep things simple and trust You for the fruit in due season. As I abide, may my life be even more fruitful for Your glory.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, thank You for the 1,935,000 Muslim Digil-Rahawiin people of Somalia. Send more than enough laborers to shine Your bright light in their hearts today. Raise up men and women who work among these people as disciple makers that simply listen and obey You. Hold back the darkness that might hinder; multiply flourishing fellowships as lighthouses throughout this group for Your glory. In Jesus name, Amen!"
