BRING THEM UP

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

Ephesians 6:4

Do you hold tightly to what God has given you? Or have you trained your heart toward generosity? Generosity is something that is trained into your spirit, mind, heart, and soul. Generosity is a key to the kingdom of God. God generously gave us His Son for our salvation while we were yet sinners. There is no greater gift. And so, we as His children living on the earth, are to give and give and give of all we have to others with the hopes that they will also live a generous life to those they work among. Ask God today to fill you to overflowing with His generosity. Ask Him to train you to release those you have been training into the earth as message bearers of His good news.

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father I want to live my life so filled with generosity that it just pours out of me to others in every way it can. God I want to give and give and give! I want to give until I have nothing left and then watch as You fill me again. I want Your heart and Spirit of generosity to be the trademark of my life. Help me learn these hard lessons and then walk in them. And help me to train up and release others into generosity as well today. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Father, thank You! My heart is so full of gratitude for the salvation that You gave me through Your Son Jesus. I am overwhelmed by Your eternal love for me and so I ask You to pour out that love and salvation to the Khati (Hindu traditions) peoples of India today. God, they need You! They need Your grace and Your mercy. They need Your love and Your freedom in their lives. Father, come and fill me with a heart of prayer toward the nations of the earth! Over and over again I ask that you would go deeper into my spririt and plant the seeds of prayer that can grow and mature into what You have planned for me in this life. Equip me to effectively train then release other followers to go and do likewise. In Jesus’ mighty name I ask, Amen."
