"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
Colossians 3:12
Today's verse calls us to clothe ourselves with the things that really matter and make an eternal difference in us and in the world around us: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. How we need all of these every day! Ask God to fill you will the understanding of what really matters to Him and to open your eyes to any worthless activities or attitudes in which you engage. Turn from those things and start doing the things that really matter. Ask the Holy Spirit to come upon you in power and set your feet on the path that leads to life. Let humility characterize your life and ministry.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, I long for You! My soul pants for Your living waters. I am so parched and thirst for Your ways and Your will. Let doing Your will be my daily bread. Let seeing You glorified be my pressing motivation for all I do. Overtake me and consume me in Your holy fire! Burn away all that is not of You! Let me bow low in true humility before You! Let my focus be on serving others for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen!"

"Father, may Your kingdom come to the Biar (Hindu traditions) peoples of India and Your will be done among them on earth as it is always done in heaven. God, they need You like I need You! We are desperate for Your move among us today! We are desperate for You to do what only You can do in my heart as well as the hearts of all the peoples of the world. Forgive me for my self-righteousness and help me lean only on Jesus as I come to You today. Multiply humble Jesus followers among the Biar (Hindu traditions) in India so that Your name is lifted high across their land. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!"
