CONFESS YOUR SINS

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."

James 5:16

To make disciples we must first learn to be discipled ourselves and this requires a often slow and steady daily walk with the Lord. Learning to serve Him in our todays is so often overlooked by people in the fast-paced, self-seeking cultures of today. Today's verse commands us to lean on our brothers and sisters in Christ to be prayed for and healed from our sins. Being transparent about our struggles and errors is challenging to our pride. Yet, the prayers of our brothers and sisters are powerful, full of the ability to help us to do whatever God has for us to do. Lean on Jesus today in humility for strength and in humility confess your faults to your fellow brothers and sisters as you go out to finish the good works God planned for you to do. Confessing our sins and praying for one another cements the bonds of love and strengthens His Body as we obey.

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father, help me. Help me see You more and more in my todays. Help me when I fall to get back up with Your strength and forgiveness and keep walking forward, knowing that the blood of Jesus covers all of my sins. Help me humble myself and transparently confess my sins. Thank You for making the way possible for me to have forgiveness and cleansing with You. Thank You for sisters and brothers who will pray for me and stand by me as I grow and learn. I ask for more and more of Your life in me today! In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Father, thank You for each one of the Labana (Sikh traditions) peoples of India that You created. Bring about miraculous salvations today among these people. Raise up many people to go and ignite multiplying movements among them today. Pour out Your Holy Spirit among them in waves upon waves of revival. Protect them and shelter them under Your wings. Help each walk in humility, confessing their sins as needed to their brothers and sisters in Christ. Develop among them flourishing fellowships of disciple makers for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen."
