"God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."
Hebrews 6:10
We show we love God by obediently giving of ourselves and by obeying His commands both in His Word. Jesus showed us the way to live our lives; He modeled for us abundant life. That life led Him to the cross where He poured it all out in sacrificial love. Helping God's people around the globe is one way of showing your love back to God. Through the devotion of generosity, we give back to God what already belongs to Him. The gifts we offer, He blesses and multiplies for His glory. God promises He will not forget your work and labor of love. We are blessed as well as we give out to others.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I long to have my heart break for what breaks Yours. I want to be your hands and feet in this world. I want to move through my life as a generous child of Yours pouring out all You've given to me. Thank You that You enable me to be sacrificially generous even as You are! Thank You that You promise not to forget my work and the love I show You in these ways.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I love the way You love me and I love the way You love others. Send out workers in the ripe harvest fields among the Tengger peoples in Indonesia. Let them realize that even the rain that falls on their crops is a gift from You. Open the eyes of their hearts to see You, Jesus, and to recognize how much You love them. Cause rapidly-multiplying movements to Jesus to burst forth throughout this group. May their roots go deep in You. May they pour out their lives as a love offering to You for Your glory. In Jesus name I ask this, Amen."
