Picture this... you are a boat in the middle of the ocean. You are alone. Storms come and go. Winds blow and waves beat against you. God has His hand under that boat holding it secure. The boat is in the water, but it rests on the firm foundation and in protection of His hand. He is guiding you along... up and down... back and forth. You can count on Him.
Praise Him for His faithfulness. Praise Him in the storms of your life. Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Praise is the remedy of life's constant storms. Trust the One holding your boat.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, I long to know with complete certainty that you are holding my whole life in your hands. I lean on the Tree of Life which is your Son Jesus Christ, and not on my own understanding. Teach me today new things, new ways of being thankful to you for what you've given me. Thank you that I'm called and chosen by You."
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, the Western Cham for the most part do not yet know that security and peace in Jesus. Their worship is directed at worthless idols, not to the Worthy One, Jesus. Birth among the Western Cham worshiping disciples who revel in Your love and goodness with their own unique sounds of praise. As the Jesus followers rejoice in You, Jesus, let their worship draw others to know and follow You as well. Amen."
