KNOW WHAT MUST BE DONE

"...from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;"

1 Chronicles 12:32

We need to be like these men of Issachar who understood the times and knew what should be done. God is building His Kingdom; He calls us to work alongside Him. He knows the times and knows what to do. When we are in Christ, we have the mind of Christ; the Holy Spirit guides us and leads us into all truth. Jesus is the Beginning and the End; He holds time in His hands. May we be laborers confident that God is working through us and trust His timing and His ways. May disciple-makers go slow to go fast—taking the time to model, assist, watch, then launch new disciples as they become effective disciple-makers.

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father, here I am, waiting before You today, seeking Your face and listening to Your voice. Empower me and all the laborers in Your harvest fields to understand the times and know the proper procedure. Help me to truly follow You, to help others to follow You, to release them to hear and obey, and to launch them into fruitful ministry without holding them back unnecessarily. They have the same Holy Spirit to guide and teach them; help me trust You, Holy Spirit, and work with You for Your glory, not mine.”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Father, I ask that the Uyghur in Turkey would hear the good news of Jesus Christ today, through preaching, teaching, visions and dreams. You can make a way where there seems to be no way! Open the eyes of their hearts and give them the ability to feel Your presence today in new encounters with You. Give them the gift of faith to believe and follow courageously. Empower laborers to go slow to go fast as they disciple new believers. Help every believer understand the times and know the proper procedure as they multiply throughout this people group and beyond."
