MOUNTAINS MOVE

"Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done."

Matthew 21:21

Today's verse speaks of having faith to move mountains. Any "mountain" or obstacle that forms against God’s will, what God has called you to do, or the places to which God has called you, is an opportunity to exercise your faith. We speak to that “mountain” to be moved and cast into the sea by faith in God’s partnership with us. Part of strategic planning is asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the "mountains" that stand in your way and then to believe and obey God to use your faith to say to those "mountains": "Get up and throw yourself in the sea." That’s when miracles happen.

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father, I know nothing is impossible for You. Reveal the “mountains” that stand against Your purposes for me. By faith, I command those "mountains" to move... the valleys to rise up... doors to be opened before me… and the Highway of Holiness to stretch out straight ahead of me, according to Your will. I choose to obey, knowing Your power stands ready to act as I believe, speak Your Word, and take the step of faith in obedience to Your command. Thank You for the victory You hold in store!”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Today I stand in the gap for the Karakalpak living in Iran, Father. Open my heart to understand your deep love for these people and give me a heart of intercession for them today. Reveal what “mountains” hinder these people knowing and following Jesus today. Remove any blinding of the enemy on their eyes now. I ask that the light of Jesus Christ would shine forth in their hearts. Give open highways for the gospel, open homes to receive Your messengers, and open hearts to hear and obey the message."
