"Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!”Like 12:24
Today, sit quietly alone and think about this beautiful world you live in. God takes care of all the creatures He has made. They don't sow or reap but are provided for by God Himself. So, if God Himself takes care of His creation, won't He even more so make sure you have all you need as His child? He knows what we need before we know. He already sees tomorrow. Trust and obey Him. Learn to live simply and don’t be burdened and anxious. Keep focused on His voice. Move in the unforced rhythms of grace. Ask God to fill you with trust and faith in Him. He will meet every need and show you which way to go.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father I long to know you more and more. Quiet my heart and allow me to see all the ways you care for this world I live in. Help me understand everything belongs to you. Help me to teach that truth to others by the words I say and the actions I take. I want to live and minister unburdened by anxiety and undistracted by the unnecessary. As I seek first Your Kingdom, meet my needs and fill my soul with joy.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I stand in the gap for the 2,007,000 Hindu Gauda people of India. Father, open their eyes! Show them the way to You! As they respond to Jesus, heal their pain and provide for their every need today! Pour out Your Holy Spirit on them and show them Jesus is the way to your eternal kingdom! May laborers sow abundantly, living simply and undistracted among the Gauda. Let a fruitful harvest be gathered for Your glory."
