"Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
2 Corinthians 6:1-2
Now is the time. Today is the day. This moment is the moment God breaks in and creates new things in your life. This is the favorable time for you. This is the day of salvation. Go into all the world, make disciples of all men, and do all God has put in your heart to do for Him today. Take a leap of faith today and act. Be in motion, walk forward with Him. Work together with Him in all you do to see His will accomplished in the earth. As you go about your day, ask God to show you new ways to see His love poured out to others through you. Sometimes it's as simple as a kind word or a hug.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I long to know You. Today I ask that You would pull me close and let me understand what it means to work together with You to do all you've created me to do. Give me the strength and the courage to step out in greater measures of faith today. Let me run alongside You and keep pace with You in Your strength for Your purposes.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father the Malay in Myanmar (Burma) need Your love and grace today. Find the lost among them and restore them to You and Your gospel. God, enable church planters to go among these people and ignite a fire of revival among them by Your Holy Spirit. Break off the fear of man in these people and let them boldly proclaim Your truths loudly. May today be the day of salvation for the Malay in Myanmar (Burma) for Your glory! In Jesus' name, Amen."
