"But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’ I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town."
Luke 10:10-12
The principles of Luke 10 reveal God’s urgency for the task to which we are assigned; we are not to linger where we are not welcomed. God calls us to focus on pressing forward into His purposes, not banging on doors that are not opening. In the same way, even on an individual level, Jesus poured into His disciples more directly than into the crowds; and, Jesus had an inner circle to which He devoted even more attention. Let Holy Spirit guide you as you steward your time and ministry focus. Pay attention to those who are going on with God and encourage them even more. Do not be hindered when doors seem to be closed but keep moving with the Holy Spirit. Trust God’s guidance and His timing.
