"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;"
1 Peter 2:9
Today's verse holds our true identity in Jesus Christ as believers and as children of God. Listen to it again: You are a Chosen Race. You Are a Royal Priesthood. You are a holy nation. You are a person for God's own possession... why? So that you can proclaim, be a witness to, shout from the rooftops the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your blind eyes to see all the opportunities that God has given you today to show His love to those around you. Ask God to illuminate the gaps He is calling You to fill.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, I want to know who I am. I want to know who You created me to be. I want to walk in wholeness and completeness and in unity with You. Open my eyes to see who You are and who I am in you today. Show me how to love others as You love me. Display Your glory through me to the watching world, particularly where there may be gaps in Your Kingdom. Send me out and multiply much fruit for Your glory through me. In Jesus’ name! Amen!

"Father, look on the Jat (Muslim Traditions) of Pakistan today. God, they need You! I need You! God, open the doors for Your Kingdom to come to these people today. Have mercy on them today and send those people who are trained in righteousness among them to share Your love and life today. Impart Your steadiness and strength to laborers to keep going when things get rough. Multiply vibrant Jesus fellowships which are lighthouses in every community for Your glory. May there be no gaps, but instead ever expanding fellowships showing Your glory among all the nations. Amen."
