"That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being."
Ephesians 3:16
As followers of Jesus Christ, it is the Holy Spirit that helps us perceive His commands then empowers us with the ability to do everything He has commanded us to do. Today, ask God to open the eyes of your heart to see how important and vital walking in the power of the Holy Spirit is. Ask Him to show you how it is Jesus who saves, it is Jesus who begins movements, and Jesus brings the multiplication. Pursue dependence upon the Holy Spirit rather than your own wisdom or strength or creativity. Truly, it is in Him we live, move, and have our being through the power and work of the Holy Spirit.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I need Your strength to keep my eyes focused on You and not on the storm that surrounds me. I need Your love to hold me tightly to You. Holy Spirit, fill all of my deep places today. Give me grace to walk in the presence and power of Your Holy Spirit today. Strengthen me with Holy Spirit power as I learn to become an effective disciple maker for Your glory. In Jesus name I ask, Amen!”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, the Chhipa (Hindu traditions) peoples walk in darkness apart from You. Show your mercy and favor among these people by thrusting out many workers among them. Though they be many, You see each one and love them with Your everlasting love. Call those You have chosen from among these peoples into Your kingdom today. May every believer be strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit in their inner being to know You and to make You known effectively. Multiply disciples and fellowships loving and worshiping Jesus among the Chhipa (Hindu traditions) today. I thank you for hearing and answering my cry, In Jesus’ name, Amen."
