"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6
Today's verse is the bedrock of the Christian faith; it speaks of complete surrender to God in all things, committing everything in our lives to Him and waiting and watching as He makes our paths straight. Today read this verse a number of times and ask the Holy Spirit to speak deep to your heart about the truth in it. As you make disciples that make other disciples, consider the simplicity of just trusting God with all the details, knowing that He will watch over His word to perform it. Only do what you see Father doing as Jesus did. Ask Him to clear away the clutter and lead you straight ahead into His purposes.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I humble myself today, asking for your help. I recognize that everything good in me comes from You and I acknowledge that I can do nothing without You. You are my rock, my shield, my ever present help in times of trouble. I commit all my ways to You. Search me and know me, God, and lead me in Your paths everlasting. Cut away every hindrance and sin. Empower me to model simplicity in my life and in faith.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, here I am, humbly before You, asking You to move by Your Spirit among the Java Pesisir Lor today. Turn your eyes and ears to these beautiful people, Lord. Train and move many workers from around the globe to boldly proclaim the gospel message simply in Your love. May signs and wonders follow the proclamation of the gospel. May disciples reproduce disciples and fellowships reproduce new fellowships until there is no place left that is not filled with the knowledge of Your glory."
