"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
Take a few moments today to read and re-read today's verse. Let the truth that it speaks settle deep into your heart. Take time to make a list of all the things that are weighing heavy on your mind and heart and give them to God and trust them to Him. Ask Him to fill you with His peace that passes understanding. Ask Him to guard your heart and your mind today. Ask Him to show you how to help others live in this peace by praying for them and lifting their concerns up before God. As you go out to plant multiplying movements for Jesus, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you to teach others how to pray rightly before God. Bathe your prayers with thanksgiving as you present Your requests. As you do, discover the transformation that results in God’s transcendant peace.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, You are a good, good Father. I am so thankful that You are my Father. I bow before Your eternal throne and ask that You fill me with a grateful heart today. Show me all the many ways You are at work in my life. Show me how to better be thankful to You as I wake, as I live each day, and as I lie down to sleep at night. I praise You and worship You! You are my God! As I model thankfulness, reproduce disciples through me that go and multiply an army of grateful followers of Jesus. In His name I ask, Amen."

Father, the Pashtun Shinwari peoples of Pakistan still have little access to the gospel. Your heart is that none should perish. For Your Name's sake, thrust out more than enough laborers to introduce these Pashtun Shinwari to You, Jesus. May thousands come to faith in Jesus and be fully devoted followers. May these disciples become fruitful disciple-makers that share with all those around His love and light. May gratitude be characteristic of their hearts. Amen.
