"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."Proverbs 3:5-6
Today's verse speaks of a deep relationship with the Lord. In this verse, it tells us to acknowledge the Lord in all our ways and He will direct our paths. What does it mean to acknowledge the Lord? To acknowledge Him means to be aware of Him every single moment of your day. He is with you. This verse also tells us to trust Him and not to lean on our own understanding. We are not God and we do not see or know like God sees and knows. God sees us right where we are and not only that, He sees everything around us and the future that lies ahead. If we are in a continual relationship with Him, then we will be continually acknowledging Him in all we do. And out of that relationship with Him, provision flows continually--provision for all we need and all He has called us to do.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I come to You today and present all I am to You. Father, I want to know You more and more and more every single day. I have come today with so many needs, so many deep needs for love and comfort. Would You come right now and fill me to overflowing with Your love and let that love pour out of me to others. As I trust all to You, meet every need so that I may be a fruitful disciple maker for Your glory.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, today I lift up the Rabiya Bedouin of Tunisia to You. God, You know all the hearts of the men and women You have created, so today I ask that You enable the men and women of the Rabiya Bedouin people group to be open to hearing Your words. Father, open their eyes to the light of Your gospel and to the freedom that comes from salvation through Your Son, Jesus. Meet all the needs of laborers among this group so they may be undistracted in their service to You. Help them trust You deeply and impart that confidence in You to the Rabiya Bedouin who begin to follow Jesus as well."
