AMBASSADORS OF RECONCILIATION

"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf. Be reconciled to God."

2 Corinthians 5:20

Ambassadors represent one kingdom to another; they go before the highest officials to prepare a favorable welcome. God reconciled us to Himself and now sends us with that message to others. Jesus delegated to us to go before Him, making his appeal through us. To reconcile is to bring into alignment once more. We are sent ahead of Jesus everywhere He is about to come so that as He comes, He is welcomed in a manner of which He is worthy. We carry His presence within us and His presence draws others to seek Him as well. May His love compel us to prepare His way.

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father, thank You for committing to me the message of reconciliation. Here I am; send me where Jesus is about to come today in my world. Make me an effective ambassador for Jesus.”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Father. I lift up the Karingani peoples of Iran to you today. I want to prepare the way for Jesus’ coming among them. In prayer, I ask You to show these people your great love and compassion. Thrust forth Your ambassadors in every place to prepare Your way, bolding offering Your message of reconciliation through Jesus. May the Karingani people welcome Jesus as their King and Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen."
