"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us."1 John 5:14
Extraordinary prayer is prayer that is self-sacrificing and other-focused. God knows what we need and has promised to provide for us. So let us come boldly before the throne of God's grace and lift the needs of others up before Him. Let us be extraordinary in our prayers as we focus on praying for the lost of this world. And let us take up our cross even in our prayers before the Almighty God and ask His grace and favor to fall on all those around us and in the world.
This is God's will that we should know Him and the One He sent, Jesus Christ. This is His heart for us and for every single person in the world. So prayers that focus on the salvation of the world are according to His will... and He promises to hear and answer each one. When we are intent on fulfilling His mission, He equips us and supplies every need. He shows us the way and gives us the key to every door.
"Father, I want to learn to talk to you as you taught me to through Jesus in your Word. Let me learn to be extraordinary in my prayers by praying for others and that your will would be done in my life and in the world around me. Change my heart oh God and renew a right spirit in me."
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, Your heart is that all may know You. Bring forth believers who can relate and share the love of Jesus with the Tujia peoples today. We pray for the Tujia to have a desire to learn to talk to You. May You reveal Yourself to them today. Teach them to be extraordinary in their prayers. Change their hearts oh God and help them to love and serve You all the days of their lives. Amen."
