"If I say, “I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name,” there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot."

Jeremiah 20:9

Jeremiah 20:9 speaks of having such a deep connection with God in your relationship that His heart for the lost peoples of the world is like a raging fire in your bones. Ask God to bring alive His Word in your heart and to make it a burning fire that you just have to share with others around you. We can also pray for others to be so impacted by their encounter with Jesus, that they too have this passionate drive to share Him with their friends. God knows where the remaining gaps are for His kingdom. Our prayers move His heart to urge others to serve in just the place and among the people who need to hear. Today ask God to stoke that fire among believers so that no people and no place is left without sufficient witness.

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father you know my heart longs for you already. But, Father, fill me with Your fire that won't be quenched. Thrust forth more than enough laborers in every people and place with that same passion for You to be loved and known. Let your Word for the lost of this world burn like fire in my bones. And as people encounter You, let that same compelling of Your love drive them to share abundantly as well.”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Father, I ask you to ignite such a movement of Your Spirit among the Punjabi in Iran that they burn bright with faith and the whole world is changed. Lord, rain on their souls and give them the great love you offer through Jesus. In your mercy, save these people by your love and raise up laborers among them. Let Your Word drive them out wherever the Kingdom is not yet to proclaim the gospel boldly. Amen."
