"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world."

I John 4:17

This week’s church planting movement principle is: Know That Every Believer is a Disciple Maker. In Acts 4:13 we read: “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished, and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.” You and I are truly unschooled and ordinary people; no matter what schools we’ve attended or what our credentials might be, we still are just children of God, fully dependent on Him for all we are and have. So, with this understanding, let's also realize that God has made all believers disciple makers because His Holy Spirit dwells within us and enables us. We become like those with whom we associate. This is the truth of humankind. If you are following Jesus Christ, you are appointed to have an eternal effect on all those you meet and with whom you have a relationship. You are meant to be a disciple maker, making disciples wherever you go. Pray that every disciple maker and leader would catch the vision that ALL true believers have the calling and authority to be disciple makers.

Ask God this week to give everyone involved in church planting movements a sense of their connectedness to the family of Christ as children of God. Practice listening to Holy Spirit daily for where He is sending you to prepare His way.
