"Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."
Ephesians 5:15-17
God never changes. He has no shadow of turning in Him. He is One. How do we know what God's will is? We can read His Word and listen to the Holy Spirit guiding us. We listen and obey. As you consider this week's movement principle, ask yourself in what ways you can better model Jesus to those around you. Ask God to show you new ways you can show His love to your family, friends, and those to whom you are sent. As you model obedience, the Holy Spirit will draw others to learn by your example and also follow Jesus.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, thank You that I can call You ‘Father.’ Thank You that You are a good Father who gives me the best and most perfect gifts including Your Holy Spirit today. Teach me how to model following and obeying instantly and joyfully before my friends and family and those I'm sent to reach. As I walk, help me walk close to You. May I be able to say, “Follow me as I follow Christ.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I lift up the Dayak Pasir peoples of Indonesia to you today. What seems impossible to me, God, is possible to You. So I come, in obedience, and pray for the salvation of these people today. I ask that Your will would be done on earth among them as it is always done in heaven. I ask that Your resurrection power be seen among them today and that, as a result, they would be known for their church planting work among the nations as You draw them to know You, Jesus. Multiply faithful followers of Jesus who in turn reproduce faithful followers."
