We were created to be in fellowship with the Living God—that original design was broken when Adam disobeyed God and fell in sin. But God sent Jesus to redeem us back to Himself once again into intimate relationship. As you go out to make disciples of all the nations from among your friends and family to the nations of the world, we are calling others to join us in intimate, organic relationship with Father God and with one another. You are going out to bring in more members of the family of God and each one is so very loved and important to God. Today ask God to give you a deeper love for those in your family and your friends and even to the ends of the earth. The Bible tells us when Jesus’ Name is lifted up, He will draw all men to Himself. Let us drop the egos and logos and focus on the Name Above All Names and His extravagant love for us all.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I come today needing a new touch from You. I need You like the air I breathe. Open my eyes to see people as You see them, as Your sons and daughters and as my brothers and sisters in Your family. Father, help me love You and others with Your love generously poured into my heart. Keep me from building my own name or kingdom, but remind me I am growing Your family, household by household. Grow me up fully in You to be like You. Build Your Body through me and may every joint supply what is needed for strength and health. Keep my eyes fixed on You alone. Thank you!”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, thank You for the Toukaleur Fulani peoples of Senegal. Bring them into Your kingdom today. Pour out Your blessings on them, especially the blessings of salvation and grace that Your Son provided on the cross for everyone. Send more than enough workers among these peoples with a special grace to endure any persecution they may face for sharing the good news. Let families of believers flourish that multiply other loving families of believers among the Toukaleur Fulani and other groups near and far for Your glory. Bless them so that they may be a blessing to many others in turn. In Jesus’ mighty name I ask, Amen."
