Psalm 28:7
Take a few moments today to read and re-read today's verse. Let the truth that it speaks settle deep into your heart. Take time to make a list of all the things that are weighing heavy on your mind and heart and give them to God and trust them to Him. Ask Him to fill you with His peace that passes understanding. Ask Him to guard your heart and your mind today. Ask Him to show you how to help others live in this peace by praying for them and lifting their concerns up before God. As you go out to plant multiplying movements for Jesus, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you to teach others how to pray rightly before God. Bathe your prayers with thanksgiving as you present Your requests. As you do, discover the transformation that results in God’s transcendant peace.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, here I am. I bow before Your eternal throne. I ask that You give me a deeper understanding of gratitude. Show me and teach me how to be thankful for everything You do in my life. I am so thankful for my family and my friends. I am so thankful that I belong to You. I praise and worship you today! Help me disciple others in gratitude, to live in it continually and show forth Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen!"
Unreached of the Day's Prayer:
Father, Hazara peoples of Pakistan do not yet acknowledge Jesus is King and Lord. I can begin by lifting their name before You and asking You to move by Your Spirit to change that situation. Jesus, You are worthy of their praise and they need You. They are lost eternally and will be forever separated from You unless You act to thrust forth enough laborers among them. Visit them in dreams and visions. Cause their hearts to be hungry and seeking You. Let Your Word run rapidly and be honored among the entire family of Hazara very soon! Birth flourishing fellowships of believers overflowing with gratitude for Your love and mercy! Amen.
