"For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
Colossians 3:3
When you accepted Jesus as your savior, you died to yourself. This is a truth that cannot be changed. You were transferred from the kingdom of death and darkness to the kingdom of truth and light. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Now that we have been saved from this world's ways, we are born a new creation and have our life in Jesus Christ. And that life is hidden in Him. So now what we do, we do in obedience to Him alone. Ask God to give you grace and peace as you work out your salvation today. Ask God to train you in the ways of righteousness and to help you train others in that way as well.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I long to know You! I long and ache for You. I cry out from the depths of my soul to know You more! I want to hear your still, small voice speaking to me in the quiet moments of my day today. I want to be still in my heart and my mind so that I can hear You speaking to me. Fill me with life and mercy and peace as I move about today and let me be a light in this dark world for You. As I learn more and more to die to myself, multiply much fruit through me for Your glory. May I become a disciple worth multiplying! In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!"
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I long to serve You and to see Your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. God, You see the Janwar Rajput peoples of India. You see each of their hearts and You know them. You love them! And so, I ask that You would raise up laborers to go out among them and make disciples. Let these laborers submit their lives to You and live as living sacrifices so they model Kingdom living. Multiply gatherings of believers that encourage each other in laying down their lives for Your glory. I bless these people in the name of the Lord! I bless their families and their land. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
